WRITER + STRATEGIST

HUMDINGER IS LOOKING FOR A FREELANCE WRITER AND STRATEGIST TO HELP SHAPE THE VOICE OF A LEADING TECH BRAND

We’re searching for someone who can think beyond individual lines of copy and build a cohesive story across an entire product ecosystem. This role blends creative writing, strategic thinking, and a strong understanding of how brands show up across the customer journey.

You will work closely with our creative team to build concepts, refine messaging, and create ideas that work across awareness, consideration, and conversion. If you like turning complicated products into clear, compelling narratives, you’ll fit right in.

Responsibilities

• Build messaging frameworks that guide how the brand communicates across channels

• Analyze competitor communication to identify opportunities for stronger differentiation

• Shape audience driven messaging paths that move people from first impression to confident decision

• Develop clear product narratives that communicate the value of hardware and software independently and as a connected ecosystem

• Refine content for partner facing decks and presentations with sharp storytelling and clear selling points

• Concept and write ideas for short form videos, product stories, and commercial scripts

• Translate product features into simple, human benefits across digital, video, retail, and social

• Collaborate with creative directors, designers, and strategists to build campaigns and launch ideas

• Contribute to brainstorms and provide fresh thinking for both brand and product initiatives

Requirements

• 5+ years of agency writing experience

• Portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual work across digital and campaign mediums

• Ability to distill complex information into simple, clear communication

• Comfortable working independently within fast paced timelines

Bonus Round

• Experience with consumer tech or platform based products

• Interest in emerging products, connected ecosystems, and digital culture

• Comfortable developing long form messaging when needed
